Mrs. Lori J. Hollingsworth of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away on September 27, 2022 after a recent diagnosis of stage 4 duodenum cancer.
Lori was born on September 1, 1959 in Orange County, California, to William and Beverly Shrewsbury. She graduated from Santiago High School in Garden Grove, Calif. Lori worked many years at Sedgwick Insurance where she had grown many friendships that meant so much to her.
Lori was loved by so many and loved them all back with her whole heart. She was so kind and caring. She loved to help and care for people.
Lori was preceded in death by her husband, Paul F. Hollingsworth; son, Curtis W. Shrewsbury; father and mother, William and Beverly Shrewsbury; brother, Michael Shrewsbury; and sister, Patricia Shrewsbury. Paul was the love of Lori’s life. He did not want to leave her and she did not know how to live without him.
Lori is survived by her daughter, Brandi and Tim Sutton; her mother and father in-law, Dorothea and James Nelson; her grandsons, Kaleb Bjornlie, Caeleb Sutton, Wyatt Sutton; and great grandson, Connor Bjornlie; her niece, Samihra and Frankie Ayala and their daughter, Melissa Ayala; as well as other nieces and nephews. She had so many friends and co-workers who will miss her greatly!
