Michael E. Douglass, 64, of Blue Springs, Mo., passed away peacefully October 19, 2022, with his wife by his side at Centerpoint Hospital, Independence, Mo., from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Mr. Douglass was born on February 3, 1958 in National City, Calif., on the San Diego naval base. He enjoyed working on cars, and especially had a love for riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Louise Douglass; sister, Theresa Lynn Camp; and brother, William Burr Douglass.
Survivors include his wife, Robin T. Williams-Douglass; two sons, Michael S. Douglass and Christopher A. Douglass; brother, Phil Douglass; sister, Robin L. Douglass; nephew, Tyler Douglass; two granddaughters; as well as many, many friends who cared about him dearly.
A celebration of life will be held on November 17, 2022 at the American Legion Hall in Independence, Mo., from 6 to 9 p.m.
