Roger Lee Bahs

Roger Lee BahsRoger Lee Bahs ,91, Excelsior Springs, MO, went home to heaven, January 14, 2023. He was born June 24, 1931 to Harold and Zelma Bahs in Nashville, Michigan.

He was a corporal in the Army during the Korean War, driving trucks, and after the war he went to school and became a mechanic for TWA and progressed to Manager of Training before retiring after 35 years. During this time he met and married Delores Dingle of Kansas City. She passed in 1998. Roger was a member and became a deacon of the Pisgah Baptist Church. He married Wanda Shepard of Excelsior Springs where they made their home.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Carl Bahs.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Wanda; sister, Betty; daughter, Tracy Bahs and husband, Lenny Markley; sons, Gary Shepard and wife, Debby, Steve Shepard, and Mike Shepard and wife, Linda; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Roger was a kind and loving husband, father and friend. He was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2023, at Pisgah Baptist Church.
