Sandra Edmunds 1941-2023

Sandra Edmunds passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023. She was born March 4,1941 in Kansas City, MO, to Sherman and Evelyn (Holmes) Brenner. She graduated from Park Hill High School. Sandra was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She crafted for her grandchildren’s classroom parties until the day they had outgrown them and they continued to look forward to her creations as an adult. She was loved by her friends and family, near and far, for her considerate heart and sassy personality.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lewis E. Edmunds; daughter, Deborah L. Carpenter; son, Jeffrey A. Edmunds; and sister, Sharon Rausch.

Survivors include daughter, Pam Admire and son, Lewis C. Edmunds; grandchildren, Sabrina Stodgell (Jeffrey), Christopher Stodgell (Jennifer), Trisha Vassmer, Andrew Carpenter, Aaron Carpenter, Austin Carpenter, Misty Carpenter, Chris Carpenter, and David Carpenter; great grandchildren, Ashlyn Bunch, Gavin Bunch, Lincoln Stodgell, Evan Stodgell and Lucianna Carpenter.

Celebration Of Life memorial visitation will be held at Bross and Spidle Funeral Home, 217 W. Broadway, Excelsior Springs, MO, on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 5 to 7 p.m. Graveside service will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, MO, on Friday March 3, 2023 at 11 a.m.

Sandra was one of the biggest Chiefs fans you would ever meet. To honor her, we would love it if you would wear Chiefs gear to the visitation and graveside service.
