Charles Kenneth Dixon, age 71, of Lathrop, MO, passed away on 4/20/2023, in Kansas City, KS.
Charles started out working at the family contracting business, where he excelled as a finish carpenter. His interest and talent in IT and computer skills led him to pursue a degree in Electronics Engineering, leading to a career in the Telecom industry.
Charles loved to fish, sail, and snow ski. He also enjoyed motor sports, riding motorcycles, and home built his own hydroplane and hovercraft. He had great photography skills and could produce professional quality action videos. He was creative, inventive and lived life to the fullest.
He is survived by wife, Cheryl Helen (Reid) Dixon, Lathrop MO; son, Jarod Charles Dixon (Christy), Chicago, IL; daughter, Jaymie Suzanne Dixon, Peoria, IL; son, Matthew James Dixon (Candace), Downers Grove, IL; and grandchildren, Jaxon and Jayda.

While I never got to know Charles at the level I wish. I am honored to have shared a few moments with him l. I am blessed to have his beautiful daughter in my life. Jaymie is such a wonderful human being and Charles and Cheryl did such an amazing job creating her. While I have to wait to see you again. I look forward to doing so. Rest in Peace good sir. Until we meet again.

Losing my parents was tough! Losing my brother has left a huge void! It hurts! He was amazing and had an amazing life! You just have to look at his children and you can tell what a great man he was!
He was married to the love of his life for over 50 years! I have always prayed for that but have failed twice! I will see him soon! Our trips together were awesome and will always be in my memory! Love you all and may the peace of Christ be with you!
