Brenda M. Stone, 52, passed away July 23, 2023, at her home. Brenda was born November 20, 1971, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Edmond and Patricia Stone. She was raised in Liberty, Missouri with her siblings, Angelo and Lisa Stone.
Brenda was a loving and loyal person. She cared deeply about her kids, Justis Stone and Jazmine Parsons, and made sure to raise them right. Brenda was also a hard worker and dedicated her life to taking care of people where she worked at Pleasant Valley Manor for over 20 years. She started as a CNA and eventually became an LPN and was very passionate about her job. In her spare time, Brenda liked to go thrift shopping and create art projects out of some of the things she bought. She eventually started a side business for fun called Brenz Junk N The Trunk.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Edmond Stone.
Brenda is survived by her mother, Patricia Stone; son, Justis Stone; daughter, Jazmine Parsons; fiancé, Jerry Stigall; brother, Angelo Stone; sister, Lisa Stone; sister-in-law, Iris Stone; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Inurnment will be held Friday, August 25, 2023, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Excelsior Springs at 11:00 a.m.
