Jack L. Duncan, age 82, Excelsior Springs, Missouri, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023. He was born on December 12, 1940, to the late Jess and Mary Duncan. He was married to the love of his life, Pat, on August 1, 1959, and was widowed on February 14, 2005. He was one of seven children.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Tom, Jim and Charlie, and sisters, Gloria and Sue.
He leaves behind one daughter, Jamie and Craig Carr, Destin, Florida; and one sister, Mitz Kretzschmer, Gladstone, Missouri.
Jack was a collector of many things (“stuff” as he would refer to it). He enjoyed tinkering in the garage and drinking his coffee. He also enjoyed driving around to visit with his friends. When leaving the house, Pat would ask him if he was going to “run traps”. With a smile on his face, he always enjoyed telling that story.
For those of us left behind, we have a lot of wonderful memories to cherish and for that we are thankful.
Graveside services will be on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Siegel Cemetery, 11500 Siegel Cemetery Road, Excelsior Springs, MO.
Arrangements are in care of Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
