Robert R. Kilgore, Sr., age 65, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, passed away November 8, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. He was born February 18, 1958 in Excelsior Springs to the late Robert D. Kilgore and Raydean Reichling.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Russell Kilgore, and sister, Ronda Kilgore.
Survivors include his brother, Ben Reichling of Colorado Springs; children, Robert R. Kilgore, Jr. (Lindsey Richardson) of Excelsior Springs, Derek Kilgore (Natalie) of Leawood, Brandi Miller of Kansas City, Andrea Billinger (Bill) of Linwood, and Aaron Kilgore (Amy) of Bonner Springs; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Robert was passionate about anything with wheels. He drove a semi-truck up until he couldn’t work anymore. He had countless cars that he was proud of. And most of all he loved riding one of the many motorcycles he had throughout his life.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, November 17, 2023 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Excelsior Springs.
