Zelda Hartman, 79, of Wood Heights, MO, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loved ones at home on November 22, 2023. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother, a woman who loved well and was greatly loved.
Zelda Mae was born August 8, 1944 in Cameron, MO, she was the sixth child and only girl to the late Kenneth Blair and Helen Keesaman. Zelda married the love of her life, John B. Hartman, on November 21, 1963 in Lawson, MO. They shared and raised two boys together, Ricky D. Young and James A. Hartman. Together, John and Zelda enjoyed spending summers at Stockton lake in their camper and spending their days fishing on their boat. In their younger years they enjoyed going out dancing. Zelda enjoyed sewing, crocheting, crafting and baking. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren.
Zelda is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John B. Hartman; her parents, Kenneth and Helen; six brothers; and one sister.
Zelda is survived by her greatest treasures, son, Ricky D. Young (Christine); grandchildren, Michelle A. Fowler (Gary) and Brian D. Young (Amy); great grandchildren, Morgan (Jake), Haley, Gavin, Trinity, and Taylor; and her great great grandchildren, Kaiden, Wyatt, Laighla, and Ellianna.
