Ronald Lloyd Davis, 75, of Kearney, passed away at home on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Born, June 21, 1948 in Polo, Missouri, Ron was known for his kind heart and his love of country. He enjoyed 42 years of safely driving a semi-tractor trailer around the Kansas City area for various companies.
Ron was a proud father, an avid fan of the Chiefs and the Royals. In the off season he enjoyed watching drag racing, car racing and westerns. His faith in the Lord was strong and was always willing to give a helping hand to those in need.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Flora Maxine Porter, and his daughter, Valerie Lynn Davis.
Survivors include his son, Ryan Christopher Davis; stepdaughter, Amber Marie Campbell (Devon Waddill); and his grandchildren, Serenity Campbell, Autumn, and Natalie Waddill.
A Celebration of Life will be held in late June to honor Ron’s first heavenly birthday. Memorial donations may be made to the family to help with unexpected final expenses and may also be made on line to Ryan’s Cash App: $huskerboy1
