Larry Roosevelt Mowery passed away on April 29, 2024 in his home, surrounded by his family.
Larry Mowery was born January 15, 1952 to Roosevelt and Stella Mowery of Kansas City, Kansas.
Larry married Judy Prosser Mowery on May 3,1969. In 1974, they welcomed their only child, Tonya.
Larry was a truck driver for 30 plus years. He owned and operated several companies, such as My Way Transport.
Larry loved working on cars. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, flying ultralight airplanes and talking on the CB and ham radio.
Larry left behind his loving wife, Judy Mowery; his daughter, Tonya Pettiecord (Justin Pettiecord); his two grandchildren, Brent Siders (Maddie Siders) and Haley Horton (Riley Horton); great grandchildren, Paisley, Dean, Haiyden, Josie, Austin and Emma, all of whom will be waiting to join Larry in heaven.
The family would like everyone to know how strong and brave Larry was up to his last breath. He fought so hard and will always and forever be their SUPERMAN!
