Gloria Nadine Stalder, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, passed away June 7, 2024. Nadine was born June 9, 1933, in Weston, Missouri, to Roy and Nina Pepper. Roy was a tobacco farmer and Nina was a homemaker. Nadine had three siblings, Doris, Don, and Edwin who preceded her in death.
Nadine married Neal Stalder of Ridgley, Missouri, on October 8, 1948. They had three children, John (Mike), Patty, and David (Brian). Neal was killed in a car accident on October 30, 1984, in Excelsior Springs. Through the years, Nadine had several different jobs, but her favorite was being a wife, mom, and homemaker. She loved to dance, travel, play cards and clean excessively.
Nadine is survived by her daughter, Patty (Steve) Kistner; son, David (Theresa) Stalder; four grandchildren, Steve (Ann) Kistner, of Fulton, Missouri, Erin (Tim) Staponski, of Excelsior Springs, Rachel Stalder, of Excelsior Springs, and Caleb (Jackie) Stalder, of Excelsior Springs; five great grandchildren, Sky Kistner, of Excelsior Springs, Imber Staponski, of Excelsior Springs, Hunter and Calvin Kistner, of Fulton, Missouri, and Aidyn Sanders, of Excelsior Springs; four sisters-in-law, Sharon (Bob) Kramer, of Kansas City, Anna Mae Stalder, of Excelsior Springs, Thelma Pepper, of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Joy (Rex) Sampson, of Platte City, Missouri; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Graveside service will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Excelsior Springs on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Excelsior Springs Quarterback Club at P.O. Box 135, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024.

I was Nadine’s hospice volunteer. She always had a smile when I visited. I’ll miss our playful Dearborn/Weston rivalry. Her loved ones are in my prayers. Happy heavenly birthday, Nadine! God bless you all.
