1962 – 2024
Rodney passed away suddenly in his home in Excelsior Springs, MO, on the night of Wednesday, June 26, 2024 after a bad asthma attack. Rodney Ernest Wilson was raised in California where he lived his younger years. He moved to Missouri in 1997. He spent most of his life doing carpentry and ended doing waterproofing (professional caulker).
He is preceded in death by his mom, Betty Jean Wilson and his dad, Richard Eugene Wilson.
He is survived by his loving wife, Juanita Marie Wilson; son, Dimitrios S. Langmaid; daughter, Catrina C. Evans (Jonathan Evans); step-daughter, Jamie M. Childress; granddaughters, Faith M. Riley, Zoie A. Langmaid, Rhea R. Langmaid, and Scarlett S. A. Evans; grandson, Leonidas J. Langmaid; brothers, Ryan E. Wilson (Linda S. Wilson), Richard E. Wilson (Richelle Wilson), Ron E. Wilson, and Robert E. Wilson; and sister, Monique L. Wilson.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, dad, grandpa and brother.
