Love you Ambrose and all that you represented in your life- those connections that you made to help so many, and the belief that you provided —that this world is full of good people and good deeds. Thank you for your friendship. I miss you already- your smile in the hospital hallway, we all loved seeing your love and smile, but could see your pain in recent days. I miss you but promise to share your positive story always. May God bless you and all of your family and friends. I pray that you are resting well now. We love you and are so thankful to have been a part of your world. Love to you all during this difficult time. I hope that the good stories and memories being joy and laughter to you all in the coming days. Love to you all. Thank you for sharing your stories and Ambrose with us all. He was, and will always be an amazing gift.

Buckman Family and Friends,
I speak for the entire Knudsen Family when I say Ambrose is Always in Our Hearts. When people talk about someone being larger than life, well Ambrose was on his own mountain. Even though I live in Savannah, Ga., over the past 20 years I was fortunate enough to spend some great quality time w he and Sherry but certainly not as much as I would have liked.
My family was graced by God to build a beautiful friendship w the Buckmans back in 1972 and although we were separated by over 1000 miles since 1976 we all cherished our times w them.
I told Julie the other day that when my father passed away that on his Mass Card was the saying from St. Ambrose “We have loved him during life, let us not abandon him until we conducted him to the Lord” – In my opinion Ambrose conducted himself to the Lord. I am CERTAIN that I have never met a more giving person in my life and he is shining down on all of us today.
Sherry and Family my heart is totally with you as I will celebrate Ambrose with a Ketel One in his Honor as the last time we were together we had great conversation over a glass of Ketel.
Cheers to you Ambrose, forever my friend and a friend to all.
Scott Knudsen

Dear Buckman family,
It was a spiritual l life as I knew.
You’re friends.
When I see you all it reminds me of my Catholic upbringing and my wonderful parents.
Ambrose I know you are in heaven.
Love to you and Sherry and family.

Words do not begin to explain the hole that Ambrose has left in this community. His light to this community will be sorely missed. Thank you Ambrose for welcoming me to the Good Samaritan Center and always being such a kind soul to those in need. We will miss you dearly here at the center. Love and Light my friend.
