Betty Lou Ball-Endsley, 80 years old of Lawson, MO, passed away October 4, 2024 at Valley Manor Nursing home in Excelsior Springs, MO, from congestive heart failure. She was born September 10, 1944 in Lawson, MO, and lived there most of her life.
Betty retired from Watkins Mill Park Camp/Division of Youth Services in 2006 after a dedication of 24 years of service. Prior to that she cooked for several local food establishments such as Mellons Café and Jans Café. She also worked at Harmon Electronics, sold AVON, and early in life she worked at a bank in North Kansas City.
Betty was an avid garage sale fan. She enjoyed country music, and she always had a couple cats and at least one dog.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Ball, and mother, Mary Ball.
She is survived by sister, Alta Taylor (Donald) of Lawson; daughter, Kathy Thompson (Randell) of Polo; granddaughter, Jandy Shirley (Paul) of Lawson; grandson, Andrew Shockley (Ashley) of Lawson; step granddaughters, Chyanne Feazell of Texas, Leanne Simmons (Drew) of Richmond MO, Destiney Morris (Johnathan) of Texas; and grandson, Hunter Thompson; great grandchildren, Jayden Shirley, Kylina Shockley, Skylar Feazell, Zain Feazell, Chevi Feazell, Kynlii Simmons, Kaleb Simmons, and Hopelynn Morris; nephews, Mike Taylor (Rhonda) and Brad Taylor (Kathy); along with many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Betty will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. and a celebration of life following at 5:00 p.m. at Bross and Spidle Funeral Home, 214 N. Pennsylvania Ave, Lawson, MO.
