Austin Haley Carpenter, born September 13, 1991, passed away with his family by his side on Saturday, October 12, 2024.
Austin graduated from Excelsior Springs High School in Missouri. He was a fun-loving, patriotic individual who never met a stranger. A proud uncle, he loved his family deeply.
He was a dedicated member of UAW Local 249, working for Ford Motor Company, and was also an active member of the Elks Lodge in Excelsior Springs, MO.
Austin loved his dog, Coco, who brought him much joy. His mother’s battle with breast cancer ignited a passion for supporting breast cancer awareness, a cause he held close to his heart.
He often wore the Star of David, which represented hope to him.
Austin was preceded in death by his grandfather, Cecil Ray Carpenter; his grandfather, Edward Lewis Edmunds; his grandmother, Sandra Edmunds; and his mother, Deborah Leann Carpenter.
He is survived by his father, Randy Carpenter; his siblings, Chris Carpenter, Misty Carpenter-Brash, David Carpenter, Andrew Carpenter, and Aaron Carpenter; niece, Lucianna Carpenter; and his beloved Granny, Joyce Carpenter. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, October 21, 2024 with services following at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, 217 W. Broadway, Excelsior Springs, MO. Burial at Crown Hill Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, MO.
