Jonathan Allen Rodgers Sr., 35 years, passed away on October 17, 2024. Jonathan was born to Jonathan and Zelpha Rodgers. He has an older twin sibling and two younger brothers, Kevin Rodgers and Andrew Rodgers.
He was born and raised in Kansas City, Mo. He attended Cub Scouts, and Boy Scouts. He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, hunting, bike riding, basically anything outdoors. He ran track and field in middle school. His favorite pass time was spending time with his children.
He’s always been well known, liked, and loved by everyone who knew him. He’s always been willing to help anyone who needed help, even a stranger!!
During his time here with us his main career was a truck driver.
He married his teenage love, Holly Marie Howard, on June 28, 2008. They had three beautiful children, Roslynn P. Rodgers, Jonathan A. Rodgers Jr., and Nevaeh’Lynn M. Rodgers.
Jonathan now join’s his father and his twin in heaven for eternal peace.
He leaves behind his wife, Holly; children, Roslynn, Jonathan, and Nevaeh’Lynn; his mother; and brothers, Kevin and Andrew.
Services will be Tuesday, October 29, 2024 with visitation at 10 a.m. and service at 11 a.m. performed by Pastor Jonathan Hubbs at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs. He will be laid to rest at Crowley Cemetery. A dinner will be held at Lane Baptist Church, 9003 E. 87th St., Raytown, MO 64138.
