Brian Scott Lambert, 59, of Riverside, Missouri, passed away on June 18, 2025. Born on March 7, 1966, in Kansas City, Kansas, Brian lived a life full of adventure, laughter, and a fearless love for excitement and connection.
He was known for his fun-loving and competitive spirit and thrill-seeking heart. Brian found joy in playing softball and basketball in his younger years, and going on canoe trips, playing pool, and seeking out new adventures with family and friends. He was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and NASCAR, always cheering on his favorite driver, Tony Stewart. Brian had a big personality, and a gift for making people laugh.
In his later years, Brian faced some difficult challenges. Although those years were hard for him and for those who loved him, his family takes comfort in knowing he is now at peace. They choose to remember him in the fullness of his life — when he was healthy, happy, and sharing unforgettable moments with those he loved.
Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra, and his son, Matthew.
He is survived by his daughter, Christina (Dale) Sisco; his grandchildren, Seth Lambert and Cheyenne Sisco; his father, Gerald Lambert; and his sister, Brenda (David) Chester. He also leaves behind his former fiancée, Amy, and her children, Brittany, Miranda, and Jacob, who held a very special place in his heart.
A celebration of Brian’s life will be held at his daughter Christina’s home in Lawson, Missouri, on Saturday, July 19th. Friends and family are invited to gather, share stories, and honor the memory of a man who brought energy, laughter, and love into the lives of so many. Out of respect for the family and the spirit of healing, this will be an alcohol-free gathering.
In lieu of flowers, Brian’s daughter will be planting a fruit tree in his memory. Those who would like to join in honoring his life are welcome to bring a fruit tree to plant, creating a lasting and living tribute to him.
Arrangements are in care of Bross & Spidle Funeral Home Lawson Chapel.
