George E. Kapral, 81, passed away at home on July 1, 2025.
He is survived by his best friend, Pat; his brother, Gary; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was an avid lover of all thing’s Blues music and Rock-n-Roll. He shared his passion for music with anyone within ear shot. He also was an avid reader, which supported his love of writing, and several of his stories were published by the Rockland Journal News and Miata Magazine.
George was a lauded and dedicated educator. He retired from North Kansas City School District in 1999, after 25 years of teaching. He left thousands of former students enriched for his efforts; many of whom have remained in his life as dear friends. George’s humor, writings, and storytelling will truly be missed.
