Sandy Teegarden (Sandra Lea Medley), Sunrise December 31, 1958, Sunset on August 2, 2025. She was a complex and powerful presence, embodying both strength and vulnerability, whose love and resilience deeply impacted those around her. Her life was marked by a fierce spirit inherited from her family and a commitment to unconditional love despite personal struggles.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, August and Virginia Romazon; father, Harold Medley; mother, Joyce Porter; stepfather, Jack Porter; and ex-husband, Paul Teegarden.
She is survived by son/daughter, Shawn and Kelley Teegarden; daughter/son, Rachelle and Brad Jackson; grandson/granddaughter, Trenton Teegarden and Ryli Cretzmeyer; grandson/granddaughter, Tanner Teegarden and Laney Cowick; granddaughter/grandson, Maci Amos and Shay Bush; grandson, Bradley Jackson Jr.; and great grandson, Mavryk Lea; her illegal siblings via the cousin loophole, Jackie and Marvin St. John, Billie Stark, Rusty and Teressa Romazon, and Randy and Susie Romazon; Mom’s forever crew, Dee Smith, Marie Simmions, and Steve Gillispie; Honorary Extended Family, Romazon’s, Medley’s, Teegarden’s and Porter’s; along with her beloved friends.
In her honor, Sandy Teegarden’s legacy encourages us to:

A Celebration of Sandy’s Life will be held from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3917, 14305 State Highway Y, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024.
