David Carl Clasen, 85, of Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025 under the loving care of hospice. He was born on April 18, 1940 in Iowa City, IA, to Carl Wilhelm Theodore Clasen and Theresa Wangsness Clasen.
David was a printer with Farmland Industries for 40 years.
David enjoyed golf and woodworking. He was a dedicated fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals and loved listening to the baseball games on the radio.
David was preceded in death by his wife, Leneve, several brothers and sisters, and his parents.
Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer West (Jesse) and Julie Jackson (Gerald); son, Gerald; stepdaughter, Shannon Stroud (Gary); stepsons, Kirk Baker (Kristi) and Brent Baker (Becky); 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two sisters and a brother.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 1:30 to 2 p.m. at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home Lawson Chapel, 214 N. Pennsylvania Ave, Lawson, MO, with graveside service immediately following at Lawson Cemetery, Lawson, MO.
