Joseph Allen Davis, 54, Kansas City, MO, passed away at Northcare Hospice House on December 2, 2025 surrounded by love and was welcomed into heaven in the loving arms of his Lord and all family who had gone before him.
Joe was born on December 20, 1970 to Jim and Connie Davis. He graduated from Excelsior Springs High School and Central Missouri State College. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon.
Joe was a telecommunication Engineer for Verizon.
Joe leaves behind his much loved adult children, Trezdon Davis of St. Louis, and Jacob Davis of Springfield; his brother, Keith Davis of Kearney; and his parents, Jim and Connie Davis of Excelsior Springs.
Joe loved playing drums with his band, Tumbleweed, strumming his uke on his deck, and his favorite pastime activity was riding his Harley with his best friend, Hank. Joe often took the road less traveled and enjoyed the many new friends he met along the way.
Last but not least he loved traveling the world with his parents and brother.
Joe was loved very much and will be missed.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Scripture Service following on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at St. James Catholic Church, Liberty, MO. Burial following at Resurrection North Cemetery. Joe wanted everyone to be comfortable and wear jeans and their favorite Chiefs shirt/gear.
