JeanAnn Smith
JeanAnn Smith, age 58, passed away January 22, 2026 at North Kansas City Hospital.
JeanAnn was born March 18, 1967 in Excelsior Springs to Ronald “Bud” Smith and Frances (Butler) Smith of Excelsior Springs.
JeanAnn attended the State school in Richmond, Missouri, where she received her high school diploma.
JeanAnn was proceeded in death by her parents, Bud and Frances Smith; and sister, Jane Ann.
She leaves behind her brothers, Craig (Rhonda) Smith and Lenny (Gina) Smith; nephews, Eric (Neile) Smith, Aaron (Amanda) Smith, Grant (Kindy) Kessler; and six great-nieces and nephews, Lucas, Kaidence, Kynli, Sutton, Bodhi and Silas. She also leaves behind an amazing staff and friends where she lived.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, 217 Broadway, Excelsior Springs, from 9 to 10 a.m. Funeral services and mass will be at Saint Ann’s Catholic Church in Excelsior Springs at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Excelsior Springs.
