Patrica Gale Walker

Patrica Gale “Patty” Walker, age 72, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 26, 2026.
Patty was born on September 29, 1953, in Clinton, MO, to Roscoe and Gladys Walker of Brownington. A 1971 graduate of Polo High School, she was known for her school spirit as head cheerleader and Courtwarming Queen. Patty later retired from EXL-Tube, where she worked in the inside sales department for many years, including being the Inside Sales Manager.
A good and godly woman, Patty was a devoted member of the Canaan Hill, Liberty, and Excelsior Springs First Churches of the Nazarene. She lived out her faith through service, participating in three Work and Witness trips and serving as a Sunday School teacher, Women’s Ministries leader, nursery worker, and board member.
A talented alto, she shared her gift of music with the Canaanettes and sang specials with her daughter and granddaughter. Whether she was decorating the fellowship hall, leading VBS, or providing beautiful floral arrangements for the church, Patty’s creativity and generous spirit were always on display.
Patty’s greatest joy was her family. She was a constant presence at her grandchildren’s activities and was always making lunch after church for family and she made the best quickie cookies on the planet. Patty enjoyed crafting, shopping, and cheering for the Chiefs and Royals.
She would remind her girls to, “Mind your manners, your morals, and your Mom” and “God loves you and I love you.”
Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Gladys Walker.
Her legacy of love and kindness lives on through her two daughters, Tricia Bellis (George) and Kelly Elmer (Scott); her
five grandchildren, Canaan, Hunter, Grace (Giwon), Caleb, and Chloe; and her four siblings, Paula Morgan (Andy), Phyllis O’Neill (Paul), Beth Neth (Rick), and Mike Walker (Debbie).
Patty was a wonderful Mom, Grammy, Sister, Aunt and friend who was a shining example of a Christian life. While she will be greatly missed, her family finds peace in knowing they will see her again in Heaven.
A special thank you to our angels at Glorious Relief Care.
