Curt Delana

Curt Delana, 56, of Excelsior Springs, MO, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026 at his home after a long battle with cancer.
Mr. Delana was born on April 16, 1969 the son of Larry and Carolyn Delana in Waverly, MO.
He worked 23 years at the American Pasta Company prior to his diagnosis. He was a founding member of the Atlas Saloon drinking club; loved to hunt and fish with his kids and nephew, Zack.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and father-in-law, Donald Lee Pugh.
Survivors include his wife, DeeDee Delana; son, Kenton (Makayla) Delana; daughter, Ckylar (Brandon) Miller; son, Logan Simmons; daughter, Jennifer (Stoney) Newman; grandkids, Bo, Raelynn, Maddex, Hunter, Caiden, Sebastian, Chloe; sisters, Angie (Jack) Green and Amy (Allen) Boland; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2026 at First United Methodist Church of Excelsior Springs with burial following at Hillcrest Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, MO. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, 217 W. Broadway, Excelsior Springs, MO. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family to be used towards a memorial of their choice.
