Milton W. “Denney” Denney, 76, of Mosby, Missouri, passed away on March 10, 2026, at Liberty Hospital.
Milton, better known as Denney, was born on December 22, 1949, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Raymond E. and Mary Denney.
Denney married Sally King on November 20, 1971. When he married Sally, he said he didn’t know what a family truly was until he married her. After 54 years together, he loved her to the very end. They raised three children: Christopher, Timothy, and Sarah. Denney was a devoted husband and a loving father. For 45 years, he worked for St. Regis Paper Company in Kansas City, Missouri, where he worked hard to provide for his family.
In addition to his love for family, Denney enjoyed collecting many things, including baseball cards, computers, cars, and tools. He had a special love for his 1971 Cuda and for riding motorcycles. He made several trips to Sturgis with his family, even when he didn’t know which way to go home. He loved to tell you all about wi-fi. His favorite thing of all, however, was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Whether they were playing video games, being outside, or just being ornery, being with them was one of his greatest joys.
Denney was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Raymond; his brother, Tommy; his half-brother, Ray; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dickie and Susie; and his nephew, Loyd.
He is survived by his wife, Sally, of the home; his children, Chris and his wife, Cheryl of Shawnee, Kansas, Tim and his partner, Julie of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and Sarah and her husband Justin of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; two sisters, Mary and Nelly; and a half-brother, Eddie. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Denney leaves behind a loving extended family, many friends, and his beloved dog, Remi.
Services will be held on March 18, 2026 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
