Jason Michael Linnenburger

January 21, 1978 – April 19, 2026

Jason Michael Linnenburger, 48, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on April 19, 2026. He was born on January 21, 1978 in Troy, Missouri.

Jason grew up in Excelsior Springs and graduated from Excelsior Springs High School in 1996. He had a deep passion for carpentry and woodworking, finding both purpose and peace in working with his hands. Jason took pride in his work and the skill he developed over the years.

He is survived by his loving mother, Val Linnenburger; his son, Michael Linnenburger; his sisters, Amelia Dallas (Shawn) and Marci Linnenburger (Keith Tackett); his nephews, Bricker and Gavin Dallas.

Jason was preceded in death by his father, Mike Linnenburger; his grandparents, Bill and Darlene Linnenburger, and Donald and Shirley Bricker.

He will be remembered for his kindness to others, his generous heart, his commitment to craftsmanship, and the quiet strength he carried throughout his life. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

There will be a family graveside service at a later date in Hamilton, Illinois.
