Antionette “Toni” Benedict

Antionette “Toni” Benedict, age 68, passed away May 17, 2026.

She was born November 15, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri, to Joann and Frank Sbisa.

Toni graduated from Center High School in 1976 and went to work for Hallmark Cards for the next 35 years.

Survivors include daughters, Jenny and Alayna Benedict;  sisters, Cindy Sbisa and Debbie (Larry) Pace; brother, George (Kathy) Sbisa; and dear friends, Jeane Sola and Vicki Lawson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, and son, Jacob.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, 208 S. Jefferson Street, Kearney, MO, 64060 followed by burial at Glenridge Cemetery, Liberty, MO.

Toni will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family wishes to express gratitude to the staff at St. Luke’s East Hospital for their care, kindness, and compassion.
