
Peggy Ann Chase, born November 6, 1949, passed away on June 29, 2026. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, remembered for her love, kindness, and the steady presence she brought to the lives around her.
Peggy was the daughter of Wilber and Wanda Hodgson, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Noel Chase on February 7, 1970, and together they built a life centered on family and commitment.
Peggy worked for the Liberty School District as a Paraprofessional, and she took great pride in supporting students and staff. She was also a member of Delta Kappa Gamma.
She is survived by her son, Scott (Trena) Chase, and her daughter, Amy Chase. Peggy also leaves behind her grandchildren, Hailey Chase, Claire (Dominick) Dickerson, and Spencer (Makayla) Chase whom she loved deeply and cherished.
Peggy is also survived by her sisters, Patsy Dillon and Janet Adams, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be Friday, July 17, 2026 at the First Presbyterian Church of Liberty. Visitation begins at 1:00 p.m. followed by a “Celebration of Life” at 2:00 p.m.
The family welcomes condolences and memories from those who were touched by Peggy’s life. A Memorial to provide a student scholarship at Liberty Academy High School is available.

I just wanted to offer my sincerest condolences regarding the loss of Peggy.
She always remembered my birthday, was always kind to me, Crystal and the kids and was truly a special person.
Through the heartbreak and sorrow, I can only think of acknowledging that she’s with the Lord now and is alive evermore!
