Gerald Justin Smalley Jr., 77, Lawson, Mo., passed away on August 2, 2026.
He was born on November 4, 1948 to Gerald J. and Dorothy L. (Tobie) Pence Smalley in Independence, Mo.
He married LaDonna Coffin December 11, 1996.
Gerald (“Bub” to his family and friends) loved being with family and friends enjoyed fishing and music. His Christian faith was very important to him.
He was proceeded in death by his wife; parents; sister, Sandra Williams; brother-in-law, Ray L. Williams; and great nephew, Andy Beyer.
He is survived by his brother, Rob (Lisa) Smalley, Lawson, Mo.; niece, Tobie (Don) Beyer, Sedalia, Mo.; nephews, Mike (Amber) Smalley, Chris Smalley, and Ray L Williams; and great nephew, Alex Beyer; and other great nephews and nieces. Also, stepchildren and grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held on August 21, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Old Union Cemetery, Lawson, Mo.
