Regan Diane Kincaid

Regan Diane Kincaid, 35, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, passed away on August 26, 2026. Regan was born on November 13, 1990 in Kansas City, Missouri. Regan was laid to rest in a private burial that took place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, on September 12, 2026. A Celebration of Life is expected to be planned at a date to be determined.

Regan grew up and went to school in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, where she met many of her lifelong friends. Regan lived locally upon graduating high school, working several different jobs around town, throughout the years, leaving her love and light wherever she went.

Regan was known for being outgoing and having never met a stranger. She made everyone feel seen. Regan wore her heart on her sleeve and loved deeply. She always looked out for others and she had a passion for helping the most vulnerable, especially animals and the unsheltered.

Regan was well-informed and incredibly witty. She was strong-willed and was said to always march to her own tune. Regan had an appreciation for art and nature; she enjoying both painting and drying flowers. She also loved reading at the local library and doing research.

Regan will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends, and her two beloved cats, “Diane” and “JJ” who brought her endless joy. The memories and love Regan shared will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Regan is survived by her mother, Sandra Carnahan Kincaid, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; her brothers, Ethan (Courtney) Kincaid, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and Josh Wiele of Wichita, Kansas; and her grandmother, Mary Sue Egger of Kansas City, Missouri.

Regan is preceded in death by her father, Charles A. Kincaid.
