Eddie Joe Hutchison

Our Beloved Brother Eddie Joe Hutchison of Richmond, Mo., passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Shirkey Hospice care facility in Richmond, Mo., surrounded by his loved ones. Eddie Joe was born April 1, 1961 to Edward Hutchison and Bonnie Rippeto-Hutchison-Carl.

Eddie Joe was a Big Brother to Teresa Walter (Dave) of Gardner, Kans., Tim Hutchison of Richmond Mo., Greg Hutchison (Angie) of Kansas City, Kans., Larry Hutchison (April) of Marshall, Mo., John Carl Jr. of Topeka, Kans., and Shirley Carl. Eddie Joe had many nieces and nephews and cousins.

In addition to our parents and grand parents proceeding him in death were his life partner, Dean Kelsey; stepfather, John Carl; sister-in-law, Alyce Hutchison; sister-in-law, Trudie Hutchison; and many furry friends.

Eddie Joe was a lover of animals, enjoyed cooking for others and coloring.

We will be having a Celebration of Life service at a later date this year.
