Vonda Jane McDowell

Vonda Jane McDowell, 78, Kearney, MO, passed away on September 19, 2026 after a brief battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank McDowell; son, John McDowell; and son, David McDowell.

Survivors include her daughter, Betty Bogart of Holt, MO; son, Frank McDowell of Kansas City, MO; son, Edward McDowell of Kearney, MO.; 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

A service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 2, 2026 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 202 W. 19th St., Kearney, MO. 64060.
