{"id":10203,"date":"2021-12-22T02:06:31","date_gmt":"2021-12-22T02:06:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/?p=10203"},"modified":"2024-07-26T03:19:36","modified_gmt":"2024-07-26T03:19:36","slug":"edward-stephen-emery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/2021\/12\/22\/edward-stephen-emery\/","title":{"rendered":"Edward Stephen Emery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-10205\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/edward-emery.jpg\" alt=\"Edward Stephen Emery\" width=\"280\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/edward-emery.jpg 280w, https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/edward-emery-210x300.jpg 210w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 280px) 100vw, 280px\" \/>Edward Stephen Emery, 50, Excelsior Springs, MO, passed away December 22, 2021, at Liberty Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Emery was born September 10, 1971, at Clark Air Base, Philippines.\u00a0 Edward graduated from the Ford Asset program at Longview College and was a mechanic for many years.\u00a0 He then went to the University of Central Missouri graduating from the Law Enforcement Program.\u00a0 He was a police officer for Orrick, MO, and later became a Ranger for Clay County at Smithville Lake.\u00a0 He ended his career working at the Elms Hotel.\u00a0 He was a Deacon at CLCC and enjoyed serving coffee and donuts on Sundays.\u00a0 He loved hunting, fishing, taxidermy and working on cars.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his wife, Heidi of the home; parents, Edward and Ruth Emery; brother, Stephen and wife, Kathy Emery; sister, Amy and husband, Bryon Jeffers; nephews, niece and many other loved ones and friends.<\/p>\n<p>Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. with service following on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Crescent Lake Christian Center.
