\"BillyBilly Joe McKown, 75, of Excelsior Springs, MO, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022 at home.<\/p>\n

Billy Joe McKown was born August 7, 1946 in Excelsior Springs, MO. He was a lifelong resident of Excelsior Springs and loved hunting, fishing and fixing things for his family and friends.\u00a0 He worked for Ford Motor Company and was a Teamsters Union over the road truck driver as an owner operator for Dallas Mavis Trucking.<\/p>\n

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Jimmy McKown, Gary McKown, Mary McKown, and Shirley Davis.<\/p>\n

He is survived by his children, Scott McKown (Angie), Amy Kane, Cody McKown, and Jordan McKown; his grandchildren, Tyler McKown and Cameron Kane; his siblings, Caroline McGonigle and Terry McKown (Joyce); and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.<\/p>\n

At Billy\u2019s request, a private memorial service will be held at a later date.<\/p>\n

Arrangements in care of Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.<\/p>\n
