Steve started on the Union Pacific Railroad when he turned 18 and retired from UPRR. As an adult Steve found peace with his family camping, traveling or just hanging out in the pool. He joined clubs such as Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star and The Elks.\u00a0 The last year Steve found extended family at The Elks and was a place he enjoyed being a part of!<\/p>\n<p>Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Harold Charles Boos; mother, Evelyn (Novinski) Boos; sisters, Theresa Baker and Mary Kopaska; brothers, Aloysius Boos and Leo Boos; and granddaughter, Angel Lynn Berg.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Boos; daughters, Rebecca (Scott) Birlingmair and Misty (Jacob) Wright; grandkids, Mary Brink, Dalton Layton, Dylan Layton, Pyper Layton, Kathryn Layton, and Trenton Lasinski (aka my little buddy); sisters, Pat (Frank) Bisang and Kathy Kistenmacher; brothers, George (Jane) Boos, John (Dee) Boos, and Harold (Olivia) Boos; and several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. May 2, 2022, with 7 p.m. service by The Elks Lodge, at Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, 217 W. Broadway Ave., Excelsior Springs, Mo.<\/p>\n<p>Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, with graveside at Masonic Cemetery, Excelsior Springs.\u00a0 Following service, we will be doing a lunch at The Elks Lodge, 521 S. Titus Ave., Excelsior Springs, Mo.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>So sorry to hear this.
