Oldham, 75, of Liberty Missouri, died from complications due to congestive heart failure on May 27, 2022. Bob was born May 23, 1947 in Laclede, Missouri, to Edna Marie and Wilmoth Hilton Oldham and spent most of his life in Liberty, Missouri. Bob was married to his wife, Patricia (Patty) Ann Jackson Oldham, for 53 years.

Bob was an avid ham radio operator for many years with the call sign N0XKS. He had a 50’ radio tower installed in the back yard that was immediately recognizable as a neighborhood eye sore and potential lightening rod (although never once hit). He contacted many other ham radio operators around the world.

Bob also enjoyed wild life and animals and had many pets over the years. In his youth, he was a fisherman, camper, and enjoyed the outdoors. Bob was a business owner most of his life after supervising a warehouse for Sears. He first owned and operated a tire shop in Kansas City, MO, then as an independent contractor newspaper carrier for The Kansas City Star for several decades. After his newspaper carrier career, he purchased a convenience in Ectonville, MO, that he ran with his wife before retiring in 2018.

Bob is survived by his wife, Patty; his son, James Oldham, also of Liberty, MO; his daughter-in-law, Sarah Oldham of Excelsior Springs, MO; his three grandchildren, Charlotte Oldham, Joshua Oldham, and Jackson Oldham and Jackson’s wife, Mindy Oldham.

He is preceded in death by his son, Bradley S. Oldham.

Bob will be cremated and visitation services will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, MO. All are welcome to join his family in his memory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance at https://www.ccalliance.org/.

Our Sincere Condolences

So very sorry for your loss.
