While serving in Norfolk Virginia he was a co-pilot on the Admiral&#8217;s airplane, flying up and down the coast. He spent four months in Alaska on the Ice Breaker. He flew both planes and helicopters while serving. He served until December 29, 1961.<\/p>\n<p>On April 11, 1964 he married\u00a0Iris Zirjacks. They were married\u00a038 years until her death in 2002.<\/p>\n<p>He spent 36 years working at United Auto Service as a mechanic before retiring in 2001.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his wife, Iris; his parents; a brother, Griffin Webb; a sister, Darlene Waterhouse; a half brother, Charlie Barber; and a special friend, Lucy Dirck.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by a son, Bobby Millsap; a daughter, Sherry and her husband, Bill; a granddaughter, Alisha Mansell and her husband, Kyle; two great granddaughters, Bella and Scarlett; along with many nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>He will be missed by family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 1 to 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Excelsior Springs with a service to follow. Burial will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements in care of Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>So sorry for your Loss.
