A lifelong resident, he was born to Chris and Marilyn Rauchle on February 11, 1967. He graduated Kearney High School with two scholarships for wrestling and football.

Chris loved hunting, fishing and anything that included shooting or using his bow more than anything. He also loved taking apart and fixing things. He would get more excited about his children’s school projects than they would. Chris was also a big prankster and goofball. He enjoyed scaring people or just making people laugh.

Chris is survived by his father, Chris Rauchle; stepmother, Georgia Rauchle; sister, Christina Rauchle; along with his three children, Kristopher (Sandy) Rauchle, Mercedes (David) McKinney, and youngest Zachary Rauchle; and two grandchildren, Brayden McKinney and Lilian Rauchle.

He is proceeded in death by his mother, Marilyn Rauchle; uncle, Charles Rauchle; aunt, Helen Rauchle; grandparents, Christian and Irene Rauchle, along with Donald and Dorothy Proffitt.

Funeral services will be held at Arley United Methodist Church, 17122 County Rd. C, Kearney, MO, on July 17, 2023. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m.

Arrangements in care of Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney.

Our Sincere Condolences

Thinking of and praying for all of the family. Always loved Chris’ mischievous smile.
Kevin Ritter

We were so very sorry to hear this news. Scott remembers all the summers as a kid hanging out with Chris Wayne. Our prayers are with you all.
Trudy and Scott Ehrsam

My thoughts and prayers are with Chris and Georgia, Christina as well as all Rauchles. Chris Wayne is a person I watched grow to an interesting adult. He was taken too soon and will be missed.
Jon Ehrsam

I remember Chris fondly as we rode the same school bus for many years and recall his love for music. He’s gone too soon.
Meredith Gauger-Cole

I enjoyed having Chris in class during my time at Kearney High School, and I am deeply saddened to learn of his death. I mentored Chris, and I hope I helped him grow as a young man. I know I became a better teacher because of the experience.
At my request, he brought a baby pig in. I’d always wanted to hold one, and it was just as much fun as I had hoped it would be. When he graduated, he gave me a Mercedes 360SL Hot Wheels car since I’d mentioned once in class that I always wanted one. I still have it.
My deepest sympathy to the family. May God’s peace be with you.
Sue Parsons Kurth

Our deepest sympathy for your family’s loss. He sounds like he was a wonderful man. Our prayers are with you and yours during this difficult time.
Daniel McKinney Family

Sorry to hear the news of your passing.
You were quite the cut up on the bus. Remember you and Christina as I was your school bus driver for many years.
Prayers go out to the family.
Carolyn Cox

Chris Wayne Rauchle, 56, of Kearney, Missouri, passed away on July 7, 2023.
