She was born on November 13, 1945. She attended Christ the King School and Bishop Ward High School.<\/p>\n<p>Judy was married for 49 years to Charles Schreiber of Sturgis, South Dakota. Together, they lived in Excelsior Springs, MO and raised five children, Michael, Julie, Daniel, Brian, and Tom. They enjoyed traveling; visiting every state in the United States. They also enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren, Anna, Preston, Naomi, Seth, and Jacob.<\/p>\n<p>Judy passed away peacefully on August 12, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Schreiber; her son, Michael Schreiber; her parents Maurice and Julia Herbert; her siblings, Louis Clark (Lillian), Maureen Eatough (Don), Catherine Herbert, and Ed Herbert.<\/p>\n<p>Judy is survived by her children, Julie Coffey (Dean), Daniel Schreiber (April), Brian Schreiber, and Tom Schreiber; her grandchildren, Anna Schreiber, Preston Schreiber, Naomi Coffey, Seth Coffey, and Jacob Coffey; and her siblings, Larry Herbert (Carleen), Vic Herbert (Roberta), Mary Moulin (Ron), and Mike Herbert (Anne); and her sister-in-law, Janice Herbert.<\/p>\n<p>Judy was a lifelong Catholic, a loving mother and grandmother, a gardener, an avid reader, and a lover of nature. She wanted to thank everyone in her life who showed her love and kindness. She especially wanted to extend a thank you to Kelley Cox who she said deserves a good neighbor award for always looking out for her over the years.<\/p>\n<p>Services will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023 at St. James Catholic Church, 309 S. Stewart Road, Liberty, MO 64068. The rosary will begin at 9:45 a.m., followed by the visitation from 10 to 11 a.m., and the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>Donations can be made to Conception Abbey, 37174 State Hwy VV, Conception, MO 64433.<br \/>\nArrangements in care of Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.<\/p>\n<p><iframe class=\"ts_player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tributeslides.com\/videos\/embedded_video\/HBQ5XLYZQ9HMX8NR\" width=\"512\" height=\"330\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>Judy was my Aunt. My memories of her and family visiting us relatives here in South Dakota, was always joyous! Rest in peace in the loving arms of our Lord and beside your husband, son and all of your family. I went to see her in the hospital after not seeing her in a very long time and she was as happy to see me that day as she was every time I saw her, she always made me feel welcome then and when I was growing up. I love you aunt Jude, I will never forget you. See you when I come home.<br \/>\nLove Kathy<\/p>\n<p>Aunt Judy was a kind and gentle soul. Her sister was my mother. I am imagining them being united in joy, along with Uncle Ed and all those people who are dear to her who preceded her.<br \/>\nRose Mary Price<\/p>\n<p>I am so sorry to hear about Judy. She was the most loving, kind and sweet woman. She prayed for everyone, would offer to help and did help on so many things at St. Ann\u2019s over the years. She had a smile that was contagious and I enjoyed her company and insightful thoughts.<br \/>\nShe talked about you kids all the time and loved all of you.
