{"id":14323,"date":"2023-08-22T19:33:10","date_gmt":"2023-08-22T19:33:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/?p=14323"},"modified":"2024-07-12T22:11:03","modified_gmt":"2024-07-12T22:11:03","slug":"james-thomas-stockwell","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/2023\/08\/22\/james-thomas-stockwell\/","title":{"rendered":"James Thomas Stockwell"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-14325\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/james-stockwell.jpg\" alt=\"James Thomas Stockwell\" width=\"320\" height=\"623\" srcset=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/james-stockwell.jpg 300w, https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/james-stockwell-154x300.jpg 154w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/>James Thomas Stockwell, 92, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri peacefully passed away on August 22, 2023, at home while surrounded by his family.<\/p>\n<p>J.T. was born to Miller and Thelma (Pierce) Stockwell on August 18, 1931.<\/p>\n<p>He worked in production for 36 and a half years at Owens Corning Fiberglass.<\/p>\n<p>J.T. was proceeded in death by his parents, Miller and Thelma Stockwell; sister, Lorraine Becker; and niece, Janice Vick.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his wife, Carol (Wysong) of 59 years; daughters, Shauna (Rich) Johnson and Elaina Niemeier; grandchildren, Alyx (Nick) Hartwig, Garrett Niemeier, Ryan Niemeier, and Trey (Shiann McGuire) Johnson with great grandson due in December 2023; and nephew, Gary (Barbara) Kindred of Germany.<\/p>\n<p>Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Barbee Memorial Presbyterian Church with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the church or St. Jude\u2019s Childrens Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements in care of Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior
