Randall Eugene Easley, 59, of Kearney, MO, passed away September 27, 2023 at home.<\/p>\nRandall Eugene Easley, 59, of Kearney, MO, passed away September 27, 2023 at home.<\/p>\n
He was born July 27, 1964 in Excelsior Springs, MO, to Leonard Eugene “Abner” and Dolores Lee Easley. He was raised in Lawson, MO, and graduated from Lawson High School in 1982. He was married to Karla Renee Taylor on June 18, 2005. He worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation in Kearney, MO, until 2015 when he was deemed disabled. He was a transplant recipient in 2016, allowing him to spend an additional seven years with his loved ones, but continued to battle multiple medical issues and surgeries.<\/p>\n
Randall was an avid Nascar and Dale Earnhardt fan. His favorite automobile was his black Chevrolet Monte Carlo, which he drove in true #3 fashion. He was a lover of music, which played a huge part in his life. He loved to attend live concerts and watch music videos. He liked his music loud and got lost in the lyrics. He loved to cook and made amazing gourmet meals for his family. He had a gift of connecting with animals, even those in the wild. He loved his beagles and his most recent companion, Bella, who never left his side.<\/p>\n
Survivors include his wife, Karla Easley of Lawson, MO; his son, Zachary Creth (Amber) Easley; and granddaughter, Catherine Schnell of Kansas City, MO; his mother, Dolores Lee (Lamb) Easley, sister, Jana (Bill) Shanks, brother, Kelly (Kelli) Easley, all of Lawson, MO; and many beloved nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Eugene “Abner” Easley; paternal grandparents, Leonard Morton and Livie Alpha (Waters) Easley; and material grandparents, Creth Lee Lamb and Virginia Lee (Cunningham) Byrd.<\/p>\n
Services will be held at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home Lawson Chapel in Lawson, MO, on Tuesday, October 3, 2923, with visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. and funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial immediately following in Lawson Cemetery.<\/p>\n
