Marijane “Janie” Wright, 75, Excelsior Springs, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024.<\/p>\n

Janie was born October 5, 1948 to Don and Norma (Dobbs) Estes in Effingham, Illinois. Janie worked as a nurse at St. Joseph Hospital, Wichita, KS, and Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO.<\/p>\n

Janie enjoyed making homemade crafts, painting, quilting, sewing, knitting and music. She was very proud of her genealogy research and finding of nearly 60 close and distant Estes family members.<\/p>\n

Janie leaves behind her husband, Howard Wright; brother, Don Estes; daughter, Shannon Williamson; son, Robert Aguilera; son-in-law, Gary Williamson; daugher-in-law, Hannah Aguilera; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.<\/p>\n

Janie was a fun, loving, kind, wonderful wife and mother, great cook, amazing grandmother.<\/p>\n

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., Monday, February 19, 2024 with funeral service following at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home Lawson Chapel, 214 N. Pennsylvania, Lawson, MO, followed by burial at Lawson Cemetery.<\/p>\n
