\"\"James \u201cFloyd\u201d Long, 76, Orrick, Mo., passed away December 29, 2017.<\/p>\n

James was born October 9, 1941 to Richard and Ethel (Roberts) Long.<\/p>\n

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Shannon and Lisa; and sister, Donna Rickart.<\/p>\n

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lilly \u201cLisa\u201d Long of the home; two sons, Gary Long of Gladstone, Mo., and James Long Jr. of Orrick, Mo.; sister, Karen (Hal) King; brothers, Bill (Paula) Long, Bob (Lee) Long, Raymond Long, and Eddie (Donna) Long; and six grandchildren.<\/p>\n

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2017 from 1 to 2 p.m., with service following at Rock Falls Baptist Church, burial at Missouri City Cemetery. The family suggest memorial contributions to the Alzheimer\u2019s Association.<\/p>\n

Arrangements in care of Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.<\/p>\n
