He was born October 10, 1959, in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, to Harold and Helen L. (Schoolfield) Rimmer.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his parents.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his two brothers, V. Craig Rimmer and Dewayne K. Rimmer, both of Excelsior Springs; aunt, Virginia Middleton; and many cousins and friends.<\/p>\n<p>Everett was very proud to have gone through the Boy Scouts of America Program. He received the rank of Eagle Scout and was a Hardway Warrior in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He worked tirelessly for many years as an adult leader with Troop 309 of Excelsior Springs and later served as an Assistant District Commissioner. Everett made many lifelong friends through the scouting program and always enjoyed teaching the young men.<\/p>\n<p>Everett was a lifelong member of Barbee Presbyterian Church. He served as a deacon, and on various committees. Most recently, he served on the mission committee and with the Wash Tub Ministry.<\/p>\n<p>Visitation will be at 10 a.m. and Memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Barbee Presbyterian Church, 501 Tiger Drive, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024.<\/p>\n<p>In lieu of flowers, the family recommends memorial gifts to Barbee Presbyterian Church, or to the Boy Scouts of America, Heart of America Council in Kansas City, MO.<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements in care of Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>So sorry for your loss.
