He married Larenda Pennington on December 30, 1968. He was a carpenter by trade and owned L.D. Construction for 31 years. He was a member of Lawson Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching the Royals\/Chiefs games. He adored his grandchildren and his family.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Larenda; daughters, Faydonna (Brandon) Heath and Heather (Neil) Chapman, and grandchildren, Grant Heath, Lane, Landry, and Logan Chapman, all of Lawson, Mo.; and a sister, Georgia Guenther of Lee\u2019s Summit, Mo.<\/p>\n<p>Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Lawson Baptist Church. Funeral service conducted by Brother Paul Wood and Brother Jesse Gilliam at 1 p.m., Friday February 3, 2017, also at the church with burial following at Lawson Cemetery, Lawson, Mo.<\/p>\n<p>The family suggest in lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Lawson Fire and Rescue Protection District.<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements are through Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, Lawson Chapel, 214 N.
