Paul William Russell, 78, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024.<\/p>\n

Paul was born February 25, 1946, in Kansas City, MO, to parents Wray G. Russell and Viola Mable Paul Russell. Paul was one of five children, surviving siblings are Lee Wray, Longview, Texas, and Dean, Eldorado, KS; others preceding in death are Tommy, Madison, KS, and Tabitha (Russell) Due, Excelsior Springs, MO.<\/p>\n

Paul graduated from Excelsior Springs High School in the class of 1964. He was married on February 25, 1966 to Mary Sue Mullikin of Prathersville, MO. Together, Paul and Sue had two children, Patrick Wray Russell (1967) of Platte City, MO, and Patricia Ann Russell DiiBon (1969), husband, Anthony of Rayville, MO.<\/p>\n

Paul retired from family-owned business established in 1945, Russell and Son\u2019s Construction after 45 years of dedicated service.<\/p>\n

Paul has four grandchildren, Jessica Hoeflicker, Amanda Russell (Patrick), Andrea Grindstaff, and Anthony DiiBon II (Patricia); eight active great grandchildren, Jaxon and Jade (Jessica and Doug), Camden and Peyton (Amanda and David), Logan and Cora (Andrea and Adam), Colton and Clayton (Anthony II and Tricia); with a long list of extended family and friends.<\/p>\n

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Gravesite Service at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Bross & Spidle Chapels, 217 W. Broadway, Excelsior Springs, MO, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, MO.<\/p>\n
