Anna Elizabeth Swope, 76, of Excelsior Springs, MO, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at North Care Hospice House.<\/p>\n

Anna was born on January 24, 1948, to Ivan Albert and Cora Mae (Swindler) Swope west of Lawson, MO. Anna was the oldest daughter in a family of eleven children.<\/p>\n

Anna worked at Linda Lane Sewing, Unitog, Montgomery Ward, Vocational Services and Concerned Care.<\/p>\n

Anna never met a baby that she couldn\u2019t spoil. Her door was always open, and a delicious meal was always on the table.<\/p>\n

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Lee and Tim.<\/p>\n

She is survived by her daughter, Enola of the home; sister, Mary (Guy) McMillan of Excelsior Springs, MO; brothers, Ivan of Dawn, MO, Glen (Shirley) Swope of Wichita, KS, Gene of Excelsior Springs, MO, John (Mary) of Lake Norden, SD, Robert of Plattsburg, MO, Tom of
\nBraymer, MO, and Dave of Lexington, MO; and several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Lathrop Antique grounds from 2:30 to 4:40 p.m.<\/p>\n
