Judy Boyer of Excelsior Springs, MO, passed unexpectedly Friday, September 12, 2025 . She was 82.<\/p>\n

Judith Ann McManigal was born December 20, 1942, to Donald and Lucille McManigal. She spent her early years in Sierra Madre, CA, before the family moved to Missouri in 1950.<\/p>\n

She graduated from Central High in 1960, and later attended Graceland College, graduating in 1963. She worked as a secretary for several companies, including Vendo and Farmland Industries.<\/p>\n

Judy married Melvan Laurence Boyer August 19, 1967. They were married for over 51 years before Mel\u2019s passing in 2019.<\/p>\n

She was a lifelong member of the RLDS church, and later the Church of Jesus Christ. She had attended the Washington Restoration Branch in Excelsior Springs since 1992.<\/p>\n

A woman of great faith, Judy served her Lord and church families in countless capacities over the decades. She was also a gifted artist who used her talents in many ways, often in the service of others.<\/p>\n

Judy is survived by her children, Stephanie (Paul) Ousley and Jeff (Paula) Boyer. She also leaves behind her sisters, Lois Carlberg and Gloria McManigal; grandchildren, Cannon and Kai Ousley, Halli and Parker Boyer; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.<\/p>\n

A service will be held at 3 p.m. on January 10, 2025 at the Excelsior Springs Community Center.<\/p>\n

Arrangements are in care of Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.<\/p>\n
