(Woldruff) Gill, 98, of Lenexa, KS, passed away on December 18, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert O. Gill (Bob), her parents, her sister, Carole Spalding, and infant great-grandson, Oliver Charles Beydler.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia was born on September 16, 1927, to Glen and Edna Woldruff in Hopkins, MO. She married her high school sweetheart, Bob, on August 24, 1948, and they shared 64 years of marriage before his death. Virginia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was a talented seamstress, making the wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses for all three of her daughters\u2019 weddings. She made quilts for all family members, including seasonal decorations. She was also an amazing cook, especially pies and homemade rolls. Virginia was a vital part of the Lawson United Methodist church making spiritual banners for the front of the sanctuary, lap quilts for those in need, teaching bible classes and even served as Treasurer for many years. She was an active member of Chapter AO PEO. She loved to play bingo and was an avid card player, she usually won \u2013 taking after her dad. Virginia was a faithful follower of Jesus, would often be seen reading her bible and was a friend to all. One of her favorite pastimes was watching all sports on TV. She loved her Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, Missouri Tigers, Royals and Chiefs.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia leaves behind an incredible legacy in her four children, Nancy Coss (Clifford) of Olathe, KS, Deborah Beydler (Randy) of Springfield, MO, James Gill (Terri) of Newburgh, IN, and Cheryl Walker (Brian) of Overland Park, KS; her nine grandchildren, Allison Gill, Sara Stevens (Richard), Matthew Gill, Nicholas Beydler (Emily), David Coss (Jennifer), Kristi Reneau (Tim), Justin Walker (Haylee), Andrew Gill, and Shannon Walker; along with 10 great-grandchildren, Maryjane Stevens, Jeremiah Beydler, Lydia Reneau, Mavis Beydler, Amos Beydler, Lena Beydler, Grayson Reneau, Beatrice Beydler, Gemma Walker and Whit Walker. She also leaves behind one sister, Norma Robison and numerous nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>A celebration of her life will be held at the Lawson United Methodist Church on Saturday, December 27, 2025. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Northwest Foundation, Inc (memo to Robert O. and Virginia Gill Scholarship) or the Lawson United Methodist church.<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements are in care of Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home Lawson Chapel.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>Dear Gill Children,<br \/>\nWe are so sorry to hear of your Mother\u2019s passing.
